Wong Promoted to Director of Digital Marketing and Event Planning

Gilbert & Associates, Hawaii’s largest advertising agency outside of Honolulu, today announced the promotion of Mahie Wong to Director of Digital Marketing and Event Planning.

Wong joined the agency in 2008. Her previous role was Senior Public Relations and Account Manager.

Vines Promoted to Director of Public Relations and Social Media

Cajski Promoted to Senior Art Director

New Kids on the Block

No, this isn't a blog post in homage to the world's greatest "boy band." (Though these guys do boast some pretty sweet dance moves.)

Gilbert & Associates is proud to welcome Donna Yanos as new assistant account executive, and Albert Garr as production artist.

With her vast experience in public relations, community building, communication and event planning, Yanos will support in executing the day-to-day deliverables for the agency’s client family. The Maui native and University of Hawaii grad previously worked at Maui Land & Pineapple Company as communications coordinator and as an account executive for Pacific Radio Group.

Rhode Island native Garr received his bachelor’s of fine arts degree from Alfred University in New York, with an emphasis in graphic design and printmaking. Beyond the G&A sphere, the former freelancer works pro bono for several local non-profit organizations.

And yes, the new G&A staffers are "hanging tough."
